Same is the case with many other diseases.

3. TO PROVIDE THE DESERVING STUDENTS WITH STIPENDS

We select the students who really deserve stipends. In this respect, we arrange interviews of the students by Senior Professors of our college. We give stipends to selected students, from Society funds and afford to cooperate on to National and Punjab Zakat Councils in the case of scholarship.

 4. TO IMPROVE M.C.H. CARE

We improve the maternity child health care. In this respect, we teach the child bearing mothers, as the best child bearing age is between 20 to 30 years and the number of children should not exceed over 5 (however, the ideal family has 2-3 children), for this purpose, we will seek the cooperation of Population Planning Department.

M.C.H. care completes in three phases:

  1. Anti-Natal Care: During this period, child bearing mother is taught about balanced diet. She is advised for thorough Medical check up. We also arrange hospitalization for certain patients during anti-natal period.
    1. Natal Care: We tell the maternity patients that delivery should be managed by mid-wife, L.H.V. or by a doctor. Certain people prefer DAIS and due to this most of the mothers as well as babies expire during and after delivery. Furthermore, the instruments of DAIS are not well sterilized and there is always danger of diseases like Tetanus, Post purpural Toximia, etc.
    2. Post-Natal Care: Post Natal care is further carried out in two phases:
  2. Mother Care: In this field, we teach the mother about balanced diet in accordance with her condition. She is taught about different exercises and child care.
  3. Child Care: For this, we tell the importance of breast feeding. Weaning should be started at the age of 4 months. Immunization of the child against communicable diseases, etc.
